The Qur’an of Caliph Uthman

This is the facsimile edition, produced in 2009 by IRCICA (the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture), of the manuscript known as the Topkapı Palace Copy — one of the few Qur’ans attributed to Caliph Uthman and counted among the most precious holdings of the Topkapı Palace Library.

Following years of academic, technical and artistic work, the manuscript was prepared for print and reproduced in a limited, certified and serially numbered edition, as faithfully as possible to the original and at the highest quality attainable with current printing technology.
