About Us

TIPKIBASIMLAR.COM was founded in 2013 to bring works of art — calligraphic panels, manuscripts and paintings held in museums, collections and libraries in Türkiye and around the world — to a wider audience of art lovers.

Our aim is to reach more art lovers and collectors with masterpieces of calligraphy created by artists of the Ottoman and Republican periods, manuscript books each worth a treasure, and the unique paintings of painters who each founded a school and whose work can otherwise only be seen in museums and on book pages — either by reproducing them “faithfully to the original”, or through limited facsimile editions of works already reproduced as closely as possible to their originals.

Alongside the editions we print ourselves, we continue to seek out facsimile works published in Türkiye and elsewhere in the world in order to bring them together with you.

We invite you to discover these works, each printed with special methods on carefully selected, high quality papers and materials as close as possible to the original, presented here with detailed photographs you can examine in full.
